Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform GMAW/MIG/Wire feed welding to AWS D1.1 standards
• Layout, fit-up, measure, and tack weldments for heavy hydraulic attachments
• Follow production schedules and LaBounty procedures to ensure timely part delivery
• Maintain a safe and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards
• Perform autonomous maintenance for daily equipment functionality
• Use appropriate PPE and adhere to all company safety programs and policies
• Assist in documenting standard work procedures and providing process improvement feedback

Requirements

• Experience with GMAW/MIG/Wire feed welding
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic weld symbols
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with standard repair and hand tools
• Ability to use measuring tools including tape measures, levels, angle finders, and squares
• Proficiency with basic computer skills (MS Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Ability to safely handle materials using cranes, hoists, forklifts, chains, and slings
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and lift as required in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree
• Experience with arc air welding
