Welder

Responsibilities

• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment for all team members
• Align, position, and fit components into fixtures as instructed
• Set up gas-shielded MIG welder and weld parts to specifications
• Read blueprints and welding symbols to complete tasks
• Use hand tools, clamps, and grinders to perform job duties
• Conduct basic maintenance on welding equipment
• Monitor and adjust robotic welder to ensure quality throughout the run
• Maintain 5S standards and adhere to Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC) metrics

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Demonstrated skill level in wire feed (M.I.G.) welding
• Ability to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Proficiency with a tape measure and mathematical skills
• Ability to use an oxygen/acetylene cutting torch
• Ability to lift up to 33 pounds and perform tasks at a standard production rate
