Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on steel, aluminum, and stainless steel components
• Interpret blueprints and product specifications for project execution
• Lay out parts, assemble, and fabricate components according to specifications
• Conduct quality inspections on welded surfaces to ensure conformance
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and ensure equipment is properly cared for
• Collaborate with team members and occasionally assist with machine operation
• Manually lift raw materials and final products up to 60 pounds

Requirements

• 2 to 10+ years of professional welding experience
• Proficiency in MIG and TIG welding processes
• Familiarity with stainless and mild steel
• Ability to work with tube or channel for trailer fabrication
• Physical ability to stand, walk, stoop, and bend for 8+ hours daily
• High school diploma or GED

Preferred Qualifications

• Specialized welding certifications
• Experience with exotic metals or advanced alloys
• Extensive experience fabricating trailers
• Experience with automated welding equipment
• Experience with formal quality inspection processes
