Welder

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities resulting in continuous efficiency and process improvements
• Perform fabrication work such as grinding, chipping and finishing
• Operate machinery and tools in an efficient and safe manner
• Maintain daily inspection log and daily piece counts
• Comply with all safety requirements and use all applicable personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Clean work area daily and perform preventative maintenance and equipment checks

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• 1 to 3 years of welding experience
• Ability to obtain Welding certificate within initial 90 days of employment
• Ability to become certified to operate forklift vehicle and overhead crane
• Ability to safely flip I-beam
• Ability to safely lift and carry 100lbs on an occasional basis
• Must be at least 18 years of age
