Welder

Responsibilities

• Perform welding on structural steel, fabrication components, and piping systems
• Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding symbols
• Execute welding using SMAW, MIG/GMAW, TIG/GTAW, and FCAW
• Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and quality compliance
• Maintain welding equipment and tools in safe working condition
• Follow OSHA safety protocols and job site safety procedures
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and construction teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional welding experience
• Experience in construction, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects
• Proven experience with structural steel welding
• Ability to read blueprints, welding diagrams, and technical drawings
• Ability to perform welds in multiple positions (horizontal, vertical, overhead)
• OSHA Construction Safety Certification or ability to obtain
• AWS Certified Welder (CW) or ability to pass a welding qualification test
• Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and work in outdoor construction environments

Preferred Qualifications

• AWS D1.1 Structural Welding Certification
• Experience with pipe welding or industrial piping systems
• Experience on large-scale industrial or energy infrastructure projects
• Familiarity with forklift, rigging, or heavy equipment
