Welder

Responsibilities

• Read shop drawings for weld symbols and application of welds to ensure work meets customer specifications
• Team up with the Fitter to assemble and fabricate steel
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop floor area

Requirements

• Experience operating shop equipment, welding, and burning
• High school diploma or GED
• Willingness to join Local Union 851

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication
