Welder Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Weld components for heat exchangers using TIG and/or MIG processes
• Work primarily with steel and stainless steel on thin sheets or tubes
• Perform component handling and preparation for welding and penetrant testing
• Maintain welding logs and traceability checklists
• Ensure workspace cleanliness by following 5S standards
• Participate in service improvement projects and responsible waste management

Requirements

• Currently preparing for a CQPM or CAP in the welding field
• Highly organized and able to work autonomously
• Strong ability to work effectively within a team
• Seeking a 1 or 2-year apprenticeship contract
