Welder 1

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality TIG and MIG welding using precision instruments
• Execute cutting, bending, drilling, tapping, and similar fabrication operations for intricate cryogenic assemblies
• Read and interpret technical drawings and supporting documentation
• Maintain high standards for vacuum leak-tight TIG welding on aluminum
• Follow assembly procedures and sign off on required documentation

Requirements

• 1+ years of professional welding experience
• Proficiency in both TIG and MIG welding techniques
• Experience performing vacuum leak-tight TIG welds on aluminum
• Experience using mechanical assembly tools
• Experience operating bridge cranes and forklift trucks
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:20 pm to 11:30 pm)
