Weld Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide technical, mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical support for all plant welding and assembly equipment
• Install, repair, and service machinery and equipment support systems
• Identify and troubleshoot production problems to minimize downtime
• Perform predictive and preventive maintenance on production lines
• Support daily production by resetting faults and replacing sensors, cords, caps, and shunts
• Ensure automatic nut/stud feeders are stocked and free of debris
• Maintain sealer/adhesive systems to ensure proper function and purging
• Comply with all safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Quality System procedures
• Document system problems, solutions, and maintenance logs accurately

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing welding maintenance
• High School Diploma or GED
• Proficiency in industrial electrical troubleshooting and installation
• Experience with robot programming and troubleshooting (FANUC, ABB, MOTOMAN, NACHI, or KUKA)
• Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing resistance and MIG welding equipment
• Ability to understand and troubleshoot basic electrical components and schematics
• Physical ability to lift at least 50lbs and work in environments with welding fumes
• Ability to work mandatory overtime, including weekends and holidays
