Weld Operator

Responsibilities

• Perform adequate welds while meeting quality and production rate requirements
• Read and follow process and work instructions accurately
• Verify that all safety guards and devices are in place before starting work
• Complete necessary paperwork and track all scrap produced
• Ensure proper tagging and labeling of all produced parts
• Maintain 5S housekeeping standards in the assigned work area
• Report any safety issues immediately to management
• Communicate production updates with previous and next shift operators

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Physical stamina to stand for 90% of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, or move items weighing between 1 lb. and 50 lbs.
• Upper body mobility for lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to work in both hot and cold environments
• Must be able to complete and pass LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) training
• Must wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in welding or automotive manufacturing
