About the role
Responsibilities
- Greet members and guests warmly to create a positive first impression
- Act as a brand ambassador by connecting members with YMCA programs and services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for member inquiries and problem-solving
- Process memberships, program registrations, and various financial transactions
- Conduct cause-driven facility tours and sell memberships and programs
- Communicate accurate information regarding facility usage, programs, and events
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with computers and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Experience handling financial transactions
- Availability to work Saturdays (8am–4pm) and Sundays (10am–4pm)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience
- Experience using SGA or similar membership management software
