Weekend Shift Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of approximately 40 people, including Packaging Team Leaders, Equipment owners, Operators, and Engineers
• Oversee weekend operations at the Shieldhall packaging site to ensure manufacturing excellence
• Drive a continuous improvement culture and foster high levels of employee engagement
• Implement strategic plans for liquid packaging to support anticipated growth in the Scotch category
• Serve as a role model for safety leadership and maintain high operational standards
• Manage shift handovers and build strong relationships with weekday leadership teams

Requirements

• Proven operational leadership experience within a manufacturing environment
• Experience leading other leaders or a consistent track record in management positions
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Demonstrated ability to act as a change agent and implement organizational change
• Commitment to safety leadership and fostering an inclusive team culture
• Ability to work a weekend shift pattern (Friday–Sunday, 7am–7pm) with flexibility for weekday collaboration
