Weekend Production Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor packaging machinery, including performing smooth machine changeovers
• Champion a strong health and safety culture to ensure all standards are met or exceeded
• Support quality control processes to ensure every product meets high brand standards
• Assist with basic maintenance activities and problem-solving to maintain production flow
• Record accurate operational data through business systems to track performance
• Collaborate closely with colleagues across shifts to maintain consistency and share procedures
• Build capability across multiple machines to enable flexibility and "flow to work" across the line

Requirements

• A strong, safety-first approach with a dedication to health and safety standards
• Experience or confidence in performing machine changeovers and quality control checks
• Ability to provide basic maintenance support and troubleshoot operational issues
• Proficiency in using business systems to accurately record data
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to provide cover for holidays or sickness to support team continuity
