Wedding & Event Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Sell and contract wedding groups, social groups, and catering events
• Respond to all incoming catering and other leads within one business day
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through contract signing
• Conduct Group and Catering site tours for potential clients
• Act as the Key Delphi Operator for the Banquet & Catering department
• Create tracking tools for accounting to trace and collect deposits
• Produce sales correspondence, contracts, proposals, and memos
• Assist in producing and communicating Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
• Review event final bills with accounting to ensure correct billing

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in hotel sales with a focus on corporate and social catering events
• Proficient knowledge in catering, sales, and food & beverage
• Knowledge of Sales Force/Delphi, HMS, and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong written and oral English communication skills
• Excellent organizational, public relation, and supervisory skills
• Ability to lead catering/banquet employees at events

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field
