About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the coordination of website development, testing, and launch processes across all involved teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the organization, website development vendors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor project progress against approved timelines and deliverables, escalating risks or blockers as needed.
- Oversee quality assurance and user acceptance testing, including tracking and resolving defects.
- Manage ongoing website administration, including hosting, system configuration, and security updates.
- Implement and manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures.
- Provide technical support to internal users involved in website content management.
Requirements
- 5-8 years of experience in server administration and networking functions.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Linux Servers and web servers such as Apache or Nginx.
- Practical experience with CMS platforms like Drupal, WordPress, or Joomla.
- Technical knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
- Proficiency with Linux CLI, SSH, and hosting panels (e.g., cPanel, Plesk).
- Working knowledge of web security, SSL certificates, and threat prevention.
- Experience with backup, restore, and disaster recovery planning.
- Professional proficiency in written and spoken English and Ukrainian.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working within a non-governmental organization (NGO).
- Basic understanding of SEO and web analytics (Google Analytics, Search Console).
- Experience with CDN services like Cloudflare.
- Familiarity with website monitoring tools such as UptimeRobot, Zabbix, or Nagios.
