WebMethods Consultant

Responsibilities

• Design and develop integration flows using WebMethods Integration Server, Trading Networks, and related components
• Implement and support B2B/EDI integrations with various trading partners using standards like X12 and EDIFACT
• Configure and manage communication protocols such as AS2, SFTP, FTP, and HTTP/S
• Develop and maintain EDI maps, schemas, and document types
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, QA, and support teams
• Troubleshoot issues and provide timely resolution for integration failures or mapping errors
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices in integration architecture
• Maintain documentation for development and operational support

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in WebMethods development
• Strong understanding of Integration Server, Trading Networks, Designer, and MWS
• Hands-on experience with EDI standards (X12, EDIFACT)
• Proficient in developing and managing partner profiles, agreements, and processing rules
• Working knowledge of Web Services (SOAP/REST) and API integrations
• Experience with error handling, reprocessing, and performance tuning
