Web & Mobile Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts for Android and iOS mobile applications using Appium
• Perform functional, regression, smoke, and sanity testing across web and mobile platforms
• Create and execute comprehensive test plans and scenarios based on user stories
• Identify, track, and retest defects using professional defect tracking tools
• Integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure platform reliability
• Collaborate with developers and product owners within an Agile/Scrum environment
• Perform API testing and basic database validation

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 3 years of experience in web and mobile application testing
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Appium
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
• Experience with version control tools like Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Experience with API automation using Rest Assured or Postman
• Knowledge of BDD frameworks like Cucumber

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud device platforms such as BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Experience with performance testing tools like JMeter or LoadRunner
• Exposure to DevOps practices and containerization with Docker
• Experience testing hybrid and native mobile applications
