Web & Mobile Automation Test Engineer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation scripts for web (Selenium) and mobile (Appium – Android/iOS) applications
• Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing to ensure application quality and reliability
• Create and execute test cases and track defects throughout the lifecycle
• Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions
• Conduct cross-browser and cross-device testing to ensure consistent user experiences
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams within an Agile environment
• Support API testing and perform basic database validation

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in automation testing
• Strong hands-on proficiency with Selenium WebDriver and Appium
• Programming proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript
• Experience with testing frameworks such as TestNG, JUnit, or PyTest
• Solid understanding of Git and CI/CD tools
• Practical experience with API testing using Postman or RestAssured
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies, SDLC, and STLC

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with BrowserStack or Sauce Labs
• Exposure to performance testing tools like JMeter
• Knowledge of Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using Cucumber
• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Docker
