Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Support the development, maintenance, and optimization of SAFE's marketing website
• Build and update web pages using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress
• Implement responsive designs across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices
• Ensure website content and layouts remain consistent with brand guidelines
• Optimize website performance, page speed, and user experience
• Support SEO best practices, metadata updates, and structured content implementation
• Assist with integrating marketing tools like Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics
• Troubleshoot website issues and collaborate with internal teams to resolve bugs
• Participate in testing, quality assurance, and Git-based development workflows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
• Basic knowledge of PHP and WordPress
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles
• Understanding of website performance, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals
• Exposure to version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or academic project experience in web development
• Exposure to WordPress themes, plugins, or CMS platforms
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics, Tag Manager, or digital marketing concepts
• Familiarity with REST APIs and cloud platforms such as AWS
• Personal portfolio, GitHub projects, or open-source contributions
