Web Developer

Responsibilities

• Manage ongoing website maintenance including CMS updates, themes, plugins, and custom code
• Implement and maintain SEO strategies to ensure high search engine visibility
• Monitor website security, manage firewall settings, renew SSL certificates, and perform regular backups
• Handle technical troubleshooting and respond to critical issues within 24 hours
• Execute design and functional refreshes to improve user engagement and mobile responsiveness
• Ensure website accessibility meets or exceeds WCAG 2.1 standards
• Manage content updates, donation page integrations, and payment processor connectivity
• Provide technical consulting for new platform integrations such as CRM and analytics tools

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in web development or website management
• Proficiency in CMS management and technical troubleshooting
• Experience with SEO implementation and monitoring
• Knowledge of security monitoring and web security best practices
• Ability to perform mobile responsiveness testing
• Understanding of WCAG 2.1 compliance and web accessibility standards
