Web Content Manager

Responsibilities

• Develop, write, edit, and maintain website content across academic and institutional web platforms
• Ensure all content meets accessibility standards, usability guidelines, and plain-language requirements
• Use web analytics tools to evaluate content performance and recommend improvements
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and internal stakeholders to gather information and translate it into clear, engaging web content
• Review and update existing pages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with institutional messaging
• Support content governance processes and maintain documentation for web standards and workflows

Requirements

• 5 years of experience working with web content management systems, web analytics, and accessible content development
• Demonstrated experience writing, reviewing, and presenting website content using plain-language best practices
• BA/BS degree in a relevant professional discipline
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• U.S. Citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading the development and management of website content for an academic department or higher-education institution
• Proven ability to oversee and maintain responsibility for writing, editing, and recommending website content in collaboration with internal teams and external contributors
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
