Web Application Backend Developer

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement backend application logic and API development
• Build efficient, testable, and reusable modules and applications
• Develop robust backend applications with an emphasis on performance and security
• Work closely with team coordinators and developers to refine technical solutions and ensure timely project completion
• Contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Web Application Backend Developer
• Solid knowledge of SOLID principles and clean code practices
• Proven experience with REST API design and database design
• Proficiency in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MSSQL
• Experience with GIT and code deployment strategies
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken)
• Ability to work independently in Agile/Scrum environments

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience setting up and deploying databases and web applications in a Microsoft Azure environment (Azure Webapps, Azure DevOps)
