Weapon System Engineer

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for a team of engineers, software developers, and testers
• Develop new or modified system requirements, architecture designs, and interface specifications
• Create System Requirements Documents and Software Requirements Specifications
• Provide acceptance criteria for developer testing, acceptance testing, and integration testing
• Conduct system-of-system integration testing and integrate with live combat systems
• Identify requirements deficiencies and support IV&V team test procedure development

Requirements

• B.S. in a STEM-related degree or higher
• 8+ years of Systems Engineering experience
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)
• Experience contributing to System Engineering Technical Reviews and working in cross-product working groups

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior USN (military or civilian) experience
• Familiarity with USN CONOPS
• Experience with AEGIS combat system interfaces or similar SoS weapons systems
• Experience working with Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence
