About the role

Responsibilities

  • Provide advanced financial planning, guidance, and counsel to High Net Worth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client segments.
  • Partner with Investment Advisors to develop and deliver client-focused wealth strategies and documented financial plans.
  • Lead the goals-based discovery process and conduct complex financial planning analysis for clients.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase service scope, helping clients achieve personal financial objectives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging expertise in taxation, estate, trust, and succession planning.
  • Support business growth by identifying emerging trends and executing strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching and training to Investment Advisors to enhance their delivery of wealth management solutions.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study.
  • CFP designation (or IQPF in Quebec).
  • Proven experience selling to High Net Worth (HNW) clients or Investment Advisors.
  • Trust & Estate Practitioner designation.
  • Working knowledge of financial planning software (NaviPlan experience is an asset).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • For WPC: 1-3 years of relevant experience.
  • For SWPC: 3-5 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA degree.
  • LL.B, LL.L, or LL.M degree.
  • Life Insurance designation.
