Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated Independent Financial Advisor to join their established advisory team based in La Cala de Mijas, Costa del Sol. This is an excellent opportunity to showcase your expertise within a firm that specialises in delivering holistic financial advice to expatriates across the EU and Switzerland.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert financial advice aligned with each client’s financial goals and objectives
• Conduct in-depth financial assessments and develop tailored financial plans
• Advise on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate planning, and tax optimisation
• Generate new business through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives
• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships
• Stay informed on industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices

Requirements

• Minimum of three years’ client-facing experience in wealth management or life insurance advisory
• Proven experience as an Independent Financial Advisor or in a client-facing financial services sales role
• Strong knowledge of financial planning principles, investment products, and regulatory frameworks
• Recognised investment qualifications (e.g. CISI, CII, or equivalent)
• Fluency in English is essential

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CII level 4, CFP, CFA, or equivalent
• Additional languages such as Spanish, German, or French
