WatHab Capacity Development Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Define WatHab in Detention program objectives by monitoring needs and aligning with delegation goals and detention strategies
• Design programs and establish priorities in collaboration with stakeholders using a participatory approach
• Prepare technical documentation including drawings, bills of quantities, and contracts
• Oversee project implementation to ensure compliance with ICRC standards and local building codes
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to staff to enhance their architectural and engineering skills
• Conduct quality control during design and construction phases of infrastructure
• Manage tendering processes and procurement of materials and services in compliance with financial regulations
• Conduct needs assessments and surveys to inform project planning
• Organize training for end-users on the operation and maintenance of installed infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture
• 10 years of professional experience in architectural design and project management
• Proven experience in humanitarian response and capacity building programs with local authorities
• Native fluency in Arabic
• Full professional working proficiency in English
