Water/Wastewater Treatment Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering education to real-world challenges with mentorship
• Gather data and support technical analysis for civil infrastructure projects
• Perform entry-level design calculations and assist in report development
• Prepare base maps using survey data
• Participate in field visits and construction observations
• Revise reports, plans, and visual materials based on feedback
• Support projects involving water, wastewater, stormwater, and irrigation infrastructure

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program
• EIT certification required within 1 year
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to work in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship or co-op experience in engineering or public works
• Familiarity with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS, or hydraulic modeling software
• Completed EIT certification
• Desire to pursue PE licensure
