Water/Wastewater Civil Engineer

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, design, and administer water and wastewater projects in the central Texas area
• Design water and wastewater facilities including transmission systems, collection systems, and storage tanks
• Manage projects involving force mains, pumping stations, treatment plants, and pipeline rehabilitation
• Perform construction administration for various infrastructure projects
• Collaborate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and project teams

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• 11-15 years of water/wastewater design experience
• Texas Registered Professional Engineer license (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or GIS
• Strong knowledge of Texas water/wastewater specifications, policies, and procedures
• Ability to work both independently and within a design group setting
• Excellent communication skills
