Water Treatment Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water treatment plant systems, including filtration
• Monitor daily water consumption and identify abnormal usage patterns
• Perform routine inspection of pumps, valves, filters, pipelines, tanks, and dosing equipment
• Coordinate preventive maintenance schedules with Engineering Department
• Identify potential equipment failures and report corrective actions
• Maintain treatment equipment cleanliness and calibration
• Conduct regular water quality testing
• Ensure compliance with local environmental regulations and hotel safety standards
• Handle chemicals safely according to SOP and MSDS requirements
• Monitor wastewater discharge quality before disposal
• Maintain proper chemical dosing levels for all treatment systems
• Ensure smooth operation of potable water, swimming pool, cooling tower, boiler feed, and sewage treatment plant systems

Requirements

• Indonesian Citizen
• Diploma or Bachelor degree in Mechanical, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 2–3 years experience in water treatment operations, preferably in hotel or resort environments
• Basic knowledge of sewage treatment plant operation, cooling tower chemistry, boiler water, and pool water treatment
• Understanding of chemical handling and safety procedures
• Familiarity with water testing instruments
• Strong attention to detail with good documentation and reporting skills
• Ability to coordinate with internal departments and external partners

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with sustainability standards
• Experience with sustainability certification within hospitality or resort environments
