Water Treatment Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure water quality indicators remain within established parameters and comply with the quality management system.
• Verify operating conditions of wells, tanks, filters, and softeners to guarantee correct water treatment.
• Supervise laboratory testing (pH, alkalinity, TDS, nitrates, etc.) to ensure processed water quality.
• Coordinate periodic water sampling and analysis according to internal and customer requirements.
• Monitor water consumption via meter readings and control usage according to established concessions.
• Supervise assigned personnel, managing shifts, vacations, and ensuring operational task completion.
• Plan preventive and corrective maintenance for treatment equipment to avoid operational failures.
• Manage the replacement of filtering materials and request necessary supplies, equipment, and services.
• Generate consumption reports and daily operational logs to detect deviations and define standards.
• Promote continuous improvement and ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Technical degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
• 1 year of experience in Water Treatment.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Control and Analytical Methods.
• Basic knowledge of Statistics and Wastewater Treatment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Completed professional degree (titulado).
