Water Treatment Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Ensure the supply of treated water for plant operations, verifying compliance with Quality Management System specifications.
• Control water flow from wells and monitor quality parameters including chlorine, nitrates, hardness, pH, alkalinity, and storage levels.
• Perform quality analysis for production water, including testing for turbidity, aluminum, and total dissolved solids.
• Prepare and verify chemical solutions used in flocculation and coagulation processes.
• Execute tank purges, multimedia filter backwashes, and cartridge replacements for polishing filters.
• Manage water softening systems for boilers and compressors, including system regeneration and water recovery.
• Monitor boiler operation and safety devices to assist in sanitation and steam generation processes.
• Implement quality, food safety, environmental, and industrial safety policies to minimize operational risks and environmental impact.

Requirements

• Completed technical degree in a related field (verifiable).
• At least 1 year of experience in water handling and/or water treatment.
• Basic knowledge of Quality Control, basic statistics, wastewater treatment, and analytical methods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional degree in Biological Sciences, Chemical Sciences, or Chemical Engineering.
