Water Treatment Operation and Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and curative maintenance (levels 1 to 3) on mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment
• Operate water treatment installations, including physico-chemical, biological, osmosis, and evaporation systems
• Conduct technical rounds, parameter readings, analytical monitoring, and sampling
• Identify technical deviations and implement appropriate corrective actions
• Install and commission new equipment such as flow meters, pumps, and heating systems
• Manage technical tracking via CMMS (GMAO) and handle spare parts orders
• Ensure accurate reporting and traceability of operational data for clients
• Act as a technical referent for junior technicians

Requirements

• Diploma in industrial maintenance, electromechanics, or water treatment (CAP/BEP, BAC/BAC PRO, or BAC+2)
• Minimum 5 years of experience in water treatment operation and maintenance
• Proficiency in physico-chemical, biological, osmosis, and evaporation technologies
• Valid driving license (Permis B) for site travel
• Electrical and chemical certifications (or willingness to obtain them)
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 12 weeks per year)
