Water Treatment Intern

Responsibilities

• Routinely visit assigned accounts to perform water treatment analysis and inspect equipment
• Inspect customer systems according to contractual requirements and build relationships with plant operators
• Escalate treatment program problems and out-of-spec results to supervisors for resolution
• Calibrate pumps, perform repairs to restore chemical feeds, and monitor product feed rates
• Enter results into software programs and communicate findings via service reports
• Assist in water-related system improvement projects and monitor product inventories
• Follow all health and safety guidelines, including the use of required PPE

Requirements

• High School diploma required
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
• Ability to lift 60 pounds and maneuver heavy equipment using proper lifting strategies
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field
• Knowledge of chemistry (high school or college level)
• Experience with chemical and hydrocarbon processing
