About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine temperature checks of hot and cold water systems in welfare cabins across the HS2 route
- Monitor and record water system performance to ensure compliance with L8 (Legionella) and other relevant standards
- Inspect water tanks, pipework, and outlets for signs of contamination or inefficiency
- Maintain accurate digital and paper-based logs and compliance records
- Liaise with site teams to coordinate access and minimise operational disruption
Requirements
- Previous experience within the water industry or a similar compliance-focused environment
- Full driving licence and comfort travelling across multiple sites
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records and work independently
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with site teams
- Commitment to safe working practices and a flexible, adaptable approach
