Water Technician Apprentice

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspection visits of facilities to ensure equipment is functioning correctly
• Report anomalies and clogging levels using digital tools
• Perform maintenance tasks including repairs, brush clearing, and waste removal
• Install and manage sewer rodent control devices (investigation, placement, and removal of bait)
• Maintain flood protection equipment through testing, cleaning, and lubrication
• Support specialized contractors during equipment maintenance operations

Requirements

• Currently preparing a BTS Métiers de l’Eau (GEMEAU) or an equivalent qualification in water, sanitation, or networks
• Valid Permis B (Driving License) is mandatory for site travel
• Basic knowledge of water and sanitation network operations
• Strong interest in hydraulic works, networks, and flood management
• Ability to work outdoors and a commitment to following strict safety rules
