Water Resources Technical Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead production teams and provide resource management for project execution
• Resolve complex technical and design challenges in water resources
• Coach and mentor engineers and designers across the GSI Team
• Develop innovative environmental protection strategies and green design solutions
• Work on stormwater designs, retrofits, construction drawings, and watershed planning studies
• Interact with reviewers and permitting entities to advance project components
• Design and produce civil engineering documents including site plans and specifications
• Collaborate with Planners and Landscape Architects to integrate stormwater into site architecture
• Conduct field work and site visits from study through construction phases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of design experience in water resources, civil engineering, or GSI
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Experience with hydrograph routing and H+H modeling
• Understanding of stormwater regulations and permitting requirements
• Ability and desire to be licensed within 4 months
