About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead production teams and provide resource management for project execution
- Resolve complex technical and design challenges in water resources
- Coach and mentor engineers and designers across the GSI Team
- Develop innovative environmental protection strategies and green design solutions
- Work on stormwater designs, retrofits, construction drawings, and watershed planning studies
- Interact with reviewers and permitting entities to advance project components
- Design and produce civil engineering documents including site plans and specifications
- Collaborate with Planners and Landscape Architects to integrate stormwater into site architecture
- Conduct field work and site visits from study through construction phases
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of design experience in water resources, civil engineering, or GSI
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Experience with hydrograph routing and H+H modeling
- Understanding of stormwater regulations and permitting requirements
- Ability and desire to be licensed within 4 months
