Water Resources Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of stormwater projects from concept through construction administration
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and internal teams
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities for repeat business
• Oversee and mentor project teams, ensuring clear communication and coordination
• Develop, manage, and track project budgets and schedules
• Lead permitting efforts by working with local agencies and municipalities to secure approvals
• Identify and mitigate project risks and resolve technical design challenges
• Manage relationships with external subconsultants, contractors, and vendors
• Perform supervisory responsibilities including planning, assigning, and directing work
• Work on stormwater designs, retrofits, construction drawings, and watershed planning studies
• Participate in field work and site visits throughout all project phases

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Biological and Agricultural Engineering, or related field
• 7+ years of design experience in water resources, civil engineering, or GSI
• Proficiency with AutoCAD
• Experience with hydrograph routing and H+H modeling
• Understanding of common stormwater regulations and permitting requirements
• Ability and desire to be licensed within 4 months
