Water Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of stormwater management, water quality, and wastewater treatment projects
• Create designs, calculations, sketches, and technical drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer
• Carry out engineering analyses and prepare technical reports and specifications
• Work collaboratively within project teams to meet scope, schedule, and budget objectives
• Collect and analyze data, perform field work, and undertake site inspections
• Maintain project records and contribute to progress reports and task updates

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering (or a related field with an emphasis on water resources/treatment)
• Must have completed at least 2 years of study in an applicable program
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs
• Proficiency in engineering software such as Civil 3D, Revit, or ArcMap

Preferred Qualifications

• A GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Detail-oriented approach with an interest in water/wastewater infrastructure design
• Willingness to travel and work in the field as needed
