About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform technical civil engineering tasks including data collection, analysis, modeling, and design computations
- Conduct field investigations, sampling, and documentation under general supervision
- Use engineering tools such as CAD, spreadsheets, and GIS mapping to support design objectives
- Serve as an on-site representative to monitor construction progress and compliance
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports, memos, and summaries
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to meet client expectations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in civil, mechanical, or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited institution
- 1 to 3 years of relevant water and wastewater engineering experience
- Engineer-In Training (EIT) registration
- Eligibility for Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Proficiency with engineering tools and software
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
