Watchlist Analyst Junior

Responsibilities

• Systematically review DoD datasets to identify and nominate known or suspected terrorists into the National Terrorist Watchlisting system
• Identify, prioritize, and record information from DoD datasets as specified by the Government
• Crosscheck and research intelligence holdings to ensure data completeness and avoid duplicate entries
• Compile, format, and classify information into formal nomination reports
• Meet Terrorist Identity Nomination (TIN) production schedules
• Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced team members assigned to Watchlisting
• Participate in intelligence exchanges, working groups, and analytic meetings in support of the DIA mission

Requirements

• TS/SCI with CIP security clearance
• High School diploma or GED
• 2 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis or DoD dataset review

Preferred Qualifications

• 4 years of experience related to the specific labor category
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university
• Demonstrated understanding of ODNI ICDs 203, 206, and 208
• Experience producing formal written strategic counterterrorism assessments and briefings
• Ability to use research databases such as the Global Terrorism Database
