Watchlist Analyst

Responsibilities

• Systematically review DoD datasets to identify and nominate known or suspected terrorists into the National Terrorist Watchlisting system
• Identify, prioritize, and record information from DoD datasets as specified by the Government
• Crosscheck and research potential targets against other intelligence holdings to ensure data completeness and avoid duplication
• Compile, format, and classify information into professional nomination reports
• Meet Terrorist Identity Nomination (TIN) production schedules
• Provide guidance and instruction to less experienced team members assigned to Watchlisting
• Participate in intelligence exchanges, roundtables, and working groups to support the DIA mission

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI with CIP security clearance
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in all-source intelligence analysis
• High School diploma or GED minimum
• In-depth knowledge of terrorist organizations, including leadership, activities, and ideology
• Experience working with DoD datasets and intelligence reporting activities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• 8 years of relevant experience, with at least 2 years in a recent role
• Demonstrated understanding of ODNI ICDs (203, 206, and 208)
• Experience producing formal strategic counterterrorism assessments and briefings
• Proficiency using research databases such as the Global Terrorism Database
