Wastewater Treatment Technician

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and operate multiple wastewater treatment plants to ensure process efficiency
• Analyze discharge quality to ensure strict compliance with regulatory self-monitoring obligations
• Perform metrology on measuring devices and maintain accurate records
• Manage reporting, order supplies, and utilize available digital tools
• Supervise subcontractors for tasks such as cleaning and green space maintenance
• Monitor the operation of lifting and pumping stations, including diagnostics and repairs
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians on equipment renewal operations

Requirements

• Training in water management, environmental professions, or direct experience in wastewater treatment plant operation
• Valid driver's license (Permis B)
• Proficiency with mobile tools and office IT software
• Highly organized and methodical approach to work
• Strict adherence to professional procedures, health, and safety standards
• Ability to work autonomously, manage priorities, and communicate critical information effectively
• Availability to participate in on-call shifts (astreinte)
