About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering projects and contracts to meet financial and commercial requirements
- Deliver services to clients as project opportunities arise
- Ensure engineering contracts are delivered safely, to quality standards, and within programme and cost constraints
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships and customer satisfaction
- Drive a proactive safety culture to achieve zero harm targets
- Maintain collaborative relationships with manufacturers and designers
- Manage site teams throughout the installation and commissioning lifecycle
- Maintain project management tools including risk registers, programmes, and inspection plans
- Report on project progress and manage the supply chain including subcontractors and agency labour
- Identify, mitigate, and manage project-associated risks
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in wastewater industry projects (circa £1m value)
- Experience managing multiple multi-disciplined civils and construction sites
- SMSTS qualification
- Relevant industry skills card or qualifications (CSCS, IOSH, or CPCS)
- Knowledge of temporary works, lift operations, deep excavations, and shaft construction
- Knowledge of current CDM regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 and MS Project
- Full UK Driving license
