Wastewater Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate the wastewater separation system in compliance with local utility guidelines
• Perform equipment maintenance, including repairs to chemical feed pumps, valves, and operators
• Conduct water sampling, sludge handling, safety inspections, and chemical transfers
• Manage chemical inventory, administer deliveries, and maintain dosage records
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, food safety, environmental, and GMP regulations
• Maintain housekeeping and preventative maintenance for the wastewater facility
• Communicate daily shift activities and operational updates to the Maintenance Manager

Requirements

• Possession of a valid N-1 License
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in wastewater operation and equipment maintenance
• Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook
• Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing)
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting 50 lbs, climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces
