About the role
Responsibilities
- Review manifests and bills of lading from inbound deliveries to verify accuracy
- Enter data into computerized tracking databases and identify incoming waste streams
- Prepare documentation for regulatory compliance and generate shipping paperwork
- Maintain computer files, logbooks, and associated filing systems
- Create and edit daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports
- Provide clerical support including reception, phone coverage, and office supply inventory
- Adhere to all safety and security policies and procedures
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 1+ years of data entry experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work in a busy, climate-controlled office environment
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or BA/BS degree
- Experience in environmental sciences
- Experience processing receiving documents and tracking inventory
- HM126 certification
- Working knowledge of 29CFR and 40CFR regulations
