Waste Room Operator

Responsibilities

• Transfer physical waste from production lines to the correct recycling or waste receptacles
• Manage waste tank operations and make necessary connections to transfer mix from reclaim silos
• Follow strict cleaning procedures for equipment and waste bins using designated chemicals
• Maintain a clean waste room area and handle chemicals safely using proper PPE
• Measure waste and accurately record data on waste trackers
• Adhere to all GMP procedures and safety protocols regarding PPE and plant movement

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Aptitude for automated mechanical processes
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in math and interpersonal communication
• Ability to work multiple shifts and schedules in a fast-paced, wet, and noisy environment

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of related experience in a production or industrial environment
