Waste Processing Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee consolidation and operation of hazardous, non-hazardous, and universal wastes
• Ensure customer orders are processed safely, accurately, and on time
• Maintain operational documentation including reports, licenses, and procedures
• Supervise segregation and packaging of materials for transport
• Manage, train, and develop a team of technicians and operators
• Promote safety and security initiatives and enforce safety rules
• Coordinate work with other sites and corporate teams
• Administer scheduled pickups and deliveries

Requirements

• High School Diploma required; B.S. in an environmental-related field preferred
• 5+ years of progressive environmental or hazardous waste management experience
• 40-hour HAZWOPER training completed or ability to obtain
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout and relevant regulatory requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a hands-on manner
• Proficiency with standard office software

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of RCRA and Department of Transportation (DoT) regulations
• Experience with waste profiling and tracking
• Familiarity with facility management platforms and systems
