Waste Area Technical Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and supervise the department's field work, including training junior technicians
• Perform waste sampling (solid, liquid, and paste) to classify hazard levels and management methods
• Conduct environmental control in landfills, including sampling groundwater, surface water, and leachates
• Perform field measurements such as temperature, pH, and well water levels
• Manage equipment maintenance, quality control, and the drafting of visit reports and minutes
• Ensure optimal sample preservation and transport to laboratories

Requirements

• Accreditation/Experience as a technician in the waste sector (MOS and/or MOS-DC)
• Minimum qualification of Technician (CFGM); CFGS or University Degree in scientific/technical fields preferred
• Over 1 year of experience in inspection, environmental consultancy, or waste management in Catalonia
• Deep knowledge of Catalan regulatory frameworks and EC-RES decrees
• Ability to interact with administration technicians and plant directors
• Proactive and autonomous work style

Preferred Qualifications

• Accredited EC-RES Technician by OA
