Washcoat Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage shift production operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity targets.
• Lead and develop the production team through manpower management, training, and succession planning.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using TPM, Lean principles, and root cause analysis.
• Monitor and communicate KPIs, ensuring timely escalation and problem resolution.
• Ensure strict compliance with EHS, IATF 16949, and IMS requirements to promote a zero-incident culture.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, Planning, and Engineering.
• Manage precious metal (PGM) issuance, reconciliation, and controlled addition into batching tanks.
• Oversee production plan adherence, capacity readiness, and smooth shift handovers.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in a production environment.
• Extensive experience leading shift teams in complex, fast-paced manufacturing settings.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, specifically SAP.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and structured problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in an intense, 24/7 shift-based environment.
