Washcoat PCE Production Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage daily washcoat production operations to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and production targets.
• Monitor and control key production KPIs including First Time Right (FTR), Tank Turnaround Time, and material consumption variance.
• Perform process troubleshooting and root cause analysis to minimize deviations, wastage, and downtime.
• Collaborate with Quality and Maintenance teams to ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including trial execution and process validation.
• Facilitate operator capability development through on-the-job training and SOP coaching.
• Manage precious metal (PGM) solution issuance and controlled addition into batching tanks.
• Drive shopfloor discipline through adherence to 5S, visual management, and standard work practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
• More than 5 years of experience in a production environment.
• Extensive experience leading shift teams in complex, fast-paced manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Strong Lean manufacturing and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 shift-based environment.
